The plight of compassionate Chinese people and the animals continues.

While animal abuse is already bad enough, it's important to note that it is also human abuse.

This is Aunt Zhao. This is her in the video, crying in an overload of sheer frustration and despair as she is helpless to stop the slow agonizing death of her dogs, all of which have been poisoned.

For many years, Aunt Zhao has been taking care of the stray dogs at their shelter home. Today, all her dogs have been poisoned by Harbin Sports college.

The school had sent their security guards into the shed to poison all the dogs -- including all puppies.

The College's reason for it is, apparently, that they are going to have an "anniversary" tomorrow.

I would describe how distraught Aunt Zhao is over the poisoning of all of her dogs and puppies -- dogs and puppies she took the time and energy and stress to try to create a safe place for -- but that's what the raw footage and photos are for.

This happens because China allows people to enter the shelter she created for dogs and poison them to their agonizing deaths.
It happens because China has never passed a single animal protection law, the lack of which has fostered subcultures of animal cruelty since any and all animal abuse is fully legal, and total corruption among Chinese officials and authorities.

For the sake of the good people of China and their animals, who are victimized and silenced by the mobs of abusers and corrupt, lethargic authorities, the international community must get involved.
Please Share widely and take action. Expose China's shameful indifference towards their ongoing legacy of sheer animal cruelty.

Salute to 15 Soldiers who lost their lives in an encounter with the ABU SAYYAF GROUP last August 29 in Sulu.

Manila Philippines - The Filipino soldier is a proud one and he demands professional competence in his leaders. In battle, he wants to know that the job is going to be done right, with no unnecessary casualties. The non-commissioned officer wearing the chevron is supposed to be the best soldier in the platoon and he is supposed to know how to perform all the duties expected of him. The Filipino soldier expects his sergeant to be able to teach him how to do his job. And he expects even more from his officers. General of the Army Omar N. Bradley

Whenever we send our troops for combat, our message is always two-fold. First is to win the battle. Second is to come home safe. The former is the general speaking. The latter is the father who cares for his children. Sadly, there are some who can't make it back home alive.

Much as every soldier, sailor, marine or airman knows that laying down one's life is all part and parcel of their job, we in the AFP vow to pursue this battle to conclusion."- General Ricardo R. Visaya AFP

Discipline is based on pride in the profession of arms, on meticulous attention to details, and on mutual respect and confidence. Discipline must be a habit so ingrained that it is stronger than the excitement of battle or the fear of death.
General George S. Patton, Jr.

To all our brave men who risked their lives for our freedom,
WE SALUTE AND THANK YOU!

Marcos is NOT a hero

Manila Philippines - Atenews, the official student publication of Ateneo de Davao University, opposes Pres. Rodrigo Duterte’s decision of burying the late dictator Ferdinand Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani (Heroes' Cemetery).
Like other campus publications and members of the press, Atenews, a 61-year-old publication, was silenced, violated, and harassed under the Marcos Regime. Atenews was just among the thousands of Martial Law victims who were illegally murdered, tortured, and imprisoned while the Marcoses enjoyed billions of ill-gotten wealth they amassed from the people. No achievements nor storied contributions of Marcos could outweigh the amount of injustices he brought to our country.
Atenews believes that to bury a dictator like Marcos at the Libingan ng mga Bayani is an insult both to the victims of the Martial Law and to the genuine heroes buried in the said cemetery. We would not allow this symbolic place to be stained by the decays of a mass murderer. We cannot imagine the future generation being misled by a burial that a dictator does not deserve.
We are urging Pres. Duterte to change his decision and recognize the woes of the Martial Law victims and groups who condemn the said burial. There is no way we can move on from an ugly past by glorifying the individual who started it. As Harriet Jacobs said, "There are wrongs which even the grave does not bury."

We will never forget. Marcos is NOT a hero.
